God has something to say! … through the Holy Spirit
1 Corinthians 12:1-11
When Paul is writing this letter to the Corinthians, he is referring to the past when they have been led astray by various influences which have resulted in them worshipping false idols…however, now they are guided by the Holy Spirit!
The Holy Spirit gives gifts of power that produce results that are obvious. They are not to be used for selfish advantage, but all of the gifts should be used to build up the body of Christ and to encourage one another. There are many different kinds of gifts which the Spirit gives as He sees the need.
